Preschool Program General InformationThe New Jersey School Funding Reform Act of 2008, P.L. 2007, c.260 mandates that all eligible at risk three and four year old children be offered a high quality preschool program beginning at age 3.We are pleased to be able to offer a free, full day, preschool program to all eligible Dover students between the ages of 3 to 5.
Our preschool program goal is to offer experiences that ensure the development of the academic, personal and interpersonal skills essential to school success.
Our full day programs are offered at the following locations:
- Dover Early Learning Center I (DELC I)
- Cornerstone at Dover Early Learning Center II (DELC II)
- ABC Growing Tree
- Bridges to Learning
- Canfield Avenue School
- Dover Childcare
- Head Start of Morris County
- The Education Station/Marigold
- Little Learners Kenvil
- Morris County Vo-Tech
- Primrose School
- Randolph YMCA
Please note that the number of available preschool seats is not determined by the District. Available seats are determined by New Jersey Department of Education Division of Early Childhood's preschool universe formula. The formula consists of the following: the number of in-district first grade students multiplied by two.
